Storage conditions: store tightly closed in a dry place. Prevent from the long-term direct stream of light because the product may discolor and lose nutritional properties.

Use: 1-2 teaspoons of powder can be added to juices, cocktails, smoothies, yoghurts, salads, porridges.

RECIPE: "Cocktail of protein"

To blend 200 g. natural yogurt (you could also use nut milk), 1 spoon amaranth powder, 1 spoon hemp powder. You could put fresh or frozen blackcurrant berries, grapes, strawberries or raspberries.

About AMARANTH: Amaranth is derived from the Greek word “Amaranto”, which means unfading flower. It is also called as Amaranthus. Amaranth has been cultivated as a grain for 8000 years. It is also known as Pigweed. Amaranth seeds are light yellowish in colour and are about the size of poppy seeds. Amaranth has great nutritional properties as a 30% higher protein compared to cereals like rice, rye, and sorghum. It is rich in amino acid has the highest content of Lysine and fiber compared to other cereal grains. Amaranth contains three times more fiber than wheat and five times more iron than wheat. It is gluten-free, Trans Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium.

Amaranth has a nutty flavor and can be combined with wheat flour in bread, pasta, pancakes, and other recipes.
