Hydrolat is a skin care with a calming and balancing effect on itchy and irritated skin. It can be used wonderfully as a direct body spray or for a compress to calm sunburn. The skin-soothing hydrolat, which is obtained from the lavender plant by steam distillation, also supports the decongestion of insect stings and is suitable for the care of impure and oily skin or acne. Lavender hydrolat is also ideal as a soothing aftershave, as well as moisturising spray for hair and irritated scalp.

Also perfect with food.

HOW IS HYDROLAT DIFFERENT FROM FLOWER WATER?

• Many plants can be distilled using an alembic.
• The collected flowers or leaves of the plant are placed in an alembic and distilled for several hours.
• In this way, we get flower water and essential oils, which can be separated. The most famous are rose water or rose essential oil.
• The resulting essential oil is a highly concentrated chemical and contains a number of volatile compounds that affect the plant's smell, taste, and properties.
• In the hydrolats of our production, the obtained flower water is mixed with the separated essential oil, so their effect is more concentrated, the smell is more intense. In this way, the real hydrolate is obtained.
