Almond cookies with no added sugar (according to Ayurveda)

Almond cookies with no added sugar (according to Ayurveda)

Almond cookies with no added sugar are made using almonds as the main ingredient, without adding sugar for sweetness. Instead, their sweetness can come from natural sources such as dried fruit or natural sweeteners. They are a healthier snack alternative for people who avoid sugar or want to maintain a balanced diet.

Ingredients:

  • Almond flour, 100 g;
  • Whole grain Spelt flour, 60 g;
  • Raisins, 50 g;
  • Dates without stones (or unrefined sugar), 40 g;
  • Almond milk (or other vegetable milk), 60 ml;
  • Shelled hemp seeds (or sesame or coconut flakes), 2 spoons;
  • Nut butter, 3 spoons;
  • Coconut oil, 3 spoons;
  • Extinguished soda, 1 tablespoon;
    • Spices:
      • 1 tbsp. Ceylon cinnamon
      • 1/2 tbsp cardamom
      • 1/2 tsp. Ginger powder
      • 1/3 tsp. Nutmeg
      • A pinch of salt

Preparing:

  • Mix dry ingredients and spices.
  • Mash the dates with milk and put the resulting mass and the remaining ingredients in a common bowl.
  • Knead the mass well with your hands and form cookies (about 8-10 units).
  • Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
